Astute Receives Gold Stevie® Award for Innovation in 2019 American Business Awards®

Winning “Technology Innovation of the Year” award marks 8th award win
for customer engagement chatbot solution, Astute Bot

COLUMBUS, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#chatbots–Astute today announced it has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie®
Award in the Technology Innovation of the Year category in the 17th Annual
American Business Awards®. The award was given for recent innovations to
its digital self-service software, Astute
Bot
, which represents the eighth award the product has received
since its release.

Leading brands understand that smart self-service chatbots have the
power to improve everyday customer interactions while capturing valuable
first-party data. Astute Bot’s conversational interface, driven by
natural language processing and narrow AI, enables consumers to have
conversations with brands to complete a variety of interactions across
digital channels like websites, apps, SMS, and social messaging.

Described by one American Business Awards judge as a “comprehensive
solution to help enterprises manage customer engagement,” Astute Bot’s
innovation stems from its ability to blend artificial and human
intelligence to provide an optimized customer experience. As another
judge phrased it, “Astute Bot allows enterprises to provide the
omnichannel, always-on support their consumers demand while letting
consumers interact with brands on their own terms.”

More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in
virtually every industry were submitted for this year’s American
Business Awards for consideration in a wide range of categories.
Astute won Gold for Technology Innovation of the
Year among organizations with up to 1,000 employees. Other companies
recognized in this year’s American Business Awards include Marriott,
Toshiba, Sargento, Bank of America, and Dell. More than 200
professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select
this year’s Stevie Award winners.

“The Astute team is honored to receive this industry recognition for
innovation,” said Astute CTO Alex George. “Our clients want to engage
one-on-one with their customers across more channels than ever before,
and Astute is focused on helping our clients delight each individual
customer while collecting first-party data that can be used to make CX
better for all.”

“The nominations submitted to The 2019 American Business Awards were
outstanding. They illustrate the continued vibrancy of innovation and
high level of achievement across the American economic landscape,” said
Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
